After the inception of weblogs and a record 647,775,234,125 new bloggers (or whatever the gruesome number may be), SF State student Phil De La Cruz has finally joined the craze.
The 25-year-old has been reluctant to create a blog of his own, but with the mandatory order of Professor Andrew DeVigal, De La Cruz is now the latest of virgin bloggers to hit the scene.
"I can't believe I actually pushed the 'submit' button," De La Cruz said. "One minute I'm trying my hardest to avoid the fad, the next minute I'm quoting myself on an actual blog. It's just insane!"
The San Francisco native went on to say that he hopes to contribute to the weblog community in some capacity, whether to provide insightful information and opinion or just to glut the internet with more useless and trivial knowledge.
